Jayden Nguna Musili, 19, residing in Fort Wayne, IN passed away Sunday,August 21, 2022 in Riley, Indiana. Jayden was born February 2003 in Fort Wayne. Son of Florence and John Musili. A student at Indiana State University where he was pursuing a degree in Psychology and Business. His education began at Holy Cross Lutheran School where his ethnic community, faith and education intersected. Jayden progressed to Concordia Lutheran HS, where he played cadet football and graduated in 2021. Jayden and "Nate" loved being brothers they would spend time in the kitchen side by side making Jayden's famous Spicy Samosas, playing basketball and going to the gym. Being the firstborn, quite a lot was expected of him. He grew to understand this responsibility and took guidance with grace and humility. A tribute to his parents, he worked to be a man that would make his family proud. Jayden was a caring, loyal, gentle, joyous person who was always willing to help just about anyone. The kindness he extended to the world was guided by his humble Christian heart. Jayden loved and was greatly loved. His smile was a gift to the world. With deepest sorrow in our hearts we see our son home to the Lord.
He is survived by His Parents Florence & John Musili, Brother Nathan Musili, Grandparents Paul and Sera Muia, Grandmothers Mary and Penninah Musili, Great grandfather Bernard Kisingu, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Preceding Jayden in death are his Grandfather Robert Musili, Aunt Mary Ann and cousin Maria Muia.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Friday, August 26, 2022 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3425 Crescent Ave with calling one hour prior. Arrangements by Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
