Jerome Joseph Boyce

Jerome Joseph Boyce, fondly known as Jerry, died on Saturday, September 25, 2021, surrounded by his family, in Charlotte, North Carolina at the age of 86. He was born on October 12, 1934 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and lived in Fort Wayne with his wife of 45 years, Dorothy (Wermer) Boyce. He is survived by his wife; children, Molly (Boyce) Moeller (Ben Moeller, Charlotte, North Carolina), Matthew Boyce (Elise Boyce, Silver Spring, Maryland), and Eileen Boyce (Carl Reis, Houston, Texas); beloved grandchildren, Gavin, Ella, Henry, Liam, and Lucy Moeller and Madeleine Boyce, as well as his sister Eileen (Boyce) Heminger and brother James Boyce (Janet Boyce), and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Jerry was predeceased by his parents; Luella (Murray) and Jeremiah Boyce; brothers Timothy and Patrick Michael Boyce; brother-in-law Thomas Heminger and sister-in-law Judy Boyce. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (2120 South Harrison Street) in Fort Wayne at 10 AM ET on Saturday, October 16, 2021, followed by a graveside service at the Catholic Cemetery (3500 Lake Avenue) in Fort Wayne. The family welcomes all who loved Jerry and respectfully requests that attendees wear masks.
