Joan M Krebs

Joan "Joni" M Krebs, 72, of Fort Wayne passed away November 26, 2021 at home with her family by her side. 

Joan was born January 4, 1949 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Schulte.

Joan graduated from Bishop Luers High School. She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, the Artist Guild of Fort Wayne Art Museum and Artlink. Joan served as Secretary of work release and parole for the state of Indiana.

In her spare time she enjoyed painting, drawing, photography, reading, and was a phenomenal mother and grandmother. She was also an avid Bears fan. 

Joan is survived by children, Jennifer Sroczynski and Joe (Marie) Krebs Jr.; siblings, Richard F (Mary Ann) Schulte and James Schulte; grandchildren, MaKenzie Krebs, Taylor Badal, Kalina Krebs and Amelia Krebs; and long time friend, Joe Krebs Sr. 

Joan was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Ann Haegert.

Memorial Service will be at 3 pm on December 9, 2021 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave with calling two hours prior.
