Joann Marie Ueber

Joann Marie Ueber, 83, of Fort Wayne, Indiana went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2022, at St. Anne Communities. Joann was born June 20, 1938, in Fort Wayne, a daughter of the late Henry and Bertha (Bobay) LaMaster.  Joann married Thomas L. Ueber on May 12, 1962, he preceded her in death on July 1, 2016.  Joann attended St Francis College in Fort Wayne and worked at Zollner Corporation. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Fort Wayne where she volunteered for many years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling.  Joann cherished time spent with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and with her many close friends.  She was a loving mother and grandmother. Joann is survived by daughter, Julie (Eric) Lorenz of Fort Wayne; sons Mike (Irma) Ueber of Plain City, Ohio, Tim Ueber of Fishers, Ind.: granddaughter, Brianna Lorenz; grandsons, Zach and Nick Lorenz, Max Ueber and Alex Ueber. Joann was also preceded in death by sister, Millie Verstynen; brothers, Harold, and Henry LaMaster.  Mass of Christian Burial 11:00am, Friday May 13, 2022, at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4500 Fairfield Ave with calling one hour prior. Visitation also 3pm to 7pm, Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
