Jonathan Mark Vaught, 59, of Fort Wayne passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Jon was born June 2, 1962 in Cass County, IN. He was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church. He ran track at Marshall Middle School in Columbia City and continued running track until he graduated Snider High School in 1981. Jon drove trucks for various companies in Fort Wayne. He participated in Civil War reenactments and was a U.S. Military history buff. He loved to listen to the Cincinnati Reds games on a transistor radio and when he was young going to games with family. Jon is survived by brother, Andrew T. (Mary) Vaught of Fort Wayne; sister, Paula L. (Roland) Beemer of Fort Wayne; nieces, Pacia Carpenter and Theresa Thomson. Jonathan was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Edward S. and Margaret I. Vaught. Contributions to your favorite charity would be greatly appreciated.
