Joseph L. Morris

Joseph L. Morris, 83, of New Haven passed away peacefully Monday, December 20, 2021. Joe was born May 3, 1938 in Muncie, IN.  Joe served in the United States Air force and was a member of Saint John Catholic Church, New Haven and Toast Masters.   He served as a cantor at St. Henry's Catholic Church for many years.  Joe was a Senior Electronics Engineer at International Harvester retiring after 37 years.   He spent many more years as a master carpenter making beautiful wood working projects for family and friends. His passion and love for wood working was shown in each piece he delivered. 

Joe is survived by his children, Scott Morris, Jodi Morris, Vicki (John) Maloley and Kevin Morris; grandchildren, Madison, Serena, Karly, Brenden, Karmen, Brooklyn and Kimberline; great-grand daughter, Mila.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife Mary. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Thursday, December 30, 2021, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Power St., New Haven, with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
