Joseph B. Winebrenner, 95, of Fort Wayne died January 9, 2022 at Glenbrook Rehab, Fort Wayne, IN. Joseph was born to the late Joe and Regina Winebrenner on December 30, 1926 in Fort Wayne. A World War II Army veteran, he participated in an Honor Flight in 2010. He was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, for 75 years. He belonged to American Legion Post 82 and assisted with the Veteran's National Memorial Shrine in Fort Wayne. He was a Railroad Clerk at Conrail for 32 years. Joseph is survived by daughter, Rhonda (Thomas) Prideaux; three sons, Joseph T (Lori) Winebrenner of Albion, IN, Matthew J (Maya) Winebrenner of Fishers, IN and Christian J Winebrenner, 6 grandchildren (Brandon, Kari, Audrey, Sean, Seth and Noah) 5 great grandchildren (Brayden, Joey, Isaac, Sarah and Austin) and sister, Pauline E Billman of Reno, NV. Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Helen; sister, Marie Hazelton and brother, Verlin L Winebrenner, Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am, Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, 1515 Barthold with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions may be made for masses or donor's choice.
