Judith A. Smith

Judith A. Smith, 74, of Fort Wayne passed away Sunday, August 28, 2022. Born on June 20, 1948 in Syracuse, NY, she was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister for the Sick, and was a member of the Mary, Martha, and Lazarus Prayer Group and Small Christian Community. She was also a member of the Aboite Library Food Club and Encore. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James; three daughters, Melissa McGinnis of East Syracuse, NY, Michelle VanWaldick of Rodman, NY, and Marcia Smith of Syracuse, NY; and grandchildren Michael and Armella VanWaldick.  Judy was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 2, 2022 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Road, with calling hours beginning at 9:30 am prior to the services. Services will be live streamed at St Elizabeth’s website:    https://seasfw.org/livestream   (once on the site, scroll down and click on “Streamspot”).  The livestreaming will begin about 15 minutes before the beginning of mass.
