Julie Ann Pitts, 57, of Naples, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at her sister’s residence in Fort Wayne. She was born on November 7, 1965 in Las Vegas to the late Jerry Carpenter and Helen (Walker) Cunningham. On July 8, 1988 she married Scott Pitts. Julie enjoyed gardening, cactuses, cooking, decorating, music, and loved being Catholic. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Scott; children, Amanda (Billy) Craig, Erica (Caitlyn Shuck) Pitts and Andrew Pitts; grandchildren, Gavin “Boo”, Andrea and Michael; siblings, Bryan (Shannon) Carpenter, Renai (Kermit) Byler, Becky Pehota and David Dyer; special nieces, Alex, Olivia and Ryan. Also preceding her in death by Dave Dyer and Edward Cunningham. The family would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Promedica Hospice, especially Emily and Britney for the loving care they provided. A private family memorial will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne.
