Karen Saum

Karen A. Saum, 84, of Fort Wayne died August 20, 2022, at Parkview Randallia, Karen was born January 24, 1938, in Fort Wayne, the daughter of the late John and Helene (Dunn) Schaab. Karen was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She married Robert Saum, October 11, 1992, he preceded her in death on March 9, 2009. She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. She retired as a Customer Service Rep at Chase Bank, in 1994. She loved to play bridge, Mexican train and was a member of the Red Hat Society.  Karen is survived by daughters, Lisa (James) Moore of Palm Bay, Fl., Marcia (Tom) Jauregui-Zent of Fort Wayne; son, Harry "Butch" (Heidi) Hannie of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Edward and William Schaab; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  Karen was preceded in death by brother, David Schaab and sister, Joan Lehman.  Funeral Service will be 11:00am, Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Friday, August 26, 2022, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
