Karl E Baatz, 82, of Fort Wayne died September 7, 2021 at home with his family. Karl was born to the late Charles and Martha Baatz on January 2, 1939 in New Haven, IN. He was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Karl was a long time member of Eel River Golf Club and worked as an insurance agent for 60 years. He served and retired from the Air National Guard. Karl enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Judy Baatz; son, Jeff (Jackie) Baatz of New Haven, IN; two daughters, Jill (Markus) Carrison of Goshen, IN and Susan (Mike) Weber of Wawaka, IN; 5 grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren. Funeral services will be private.
