Kellie Miles-Smith was born October 16, 1991 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Cheryl Williams and Calvin Miles. She departed her life to be with the Lord on August 8, 2020. Kellie lovingly accepted Christ in her youth. She excelled in school and sports, graduating from Northside High School in 2010. Most recently, Kellie was accepted into the Indiana University School of Nursing (IUFW) and excited to begin her journey to becoming a nurse.
In June 2018, Kellie married Jamarcus Smith, where they became a family of five. Kellie’s passions in life were her family and the San Antonio Spurs. She was the biggest San Antonio Spurs and Tim Duncan fan. Kellie was both a coach and cheerleader for her family. She loved them and they adored her! It is said, there are some who bring a light so bright into this world, that long after they’re gone their light remains. Her light will be forever in our hearts.
Kellie Miles-Smith was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Jamarcus Smith, one daughter Kamille Miles, one-step daughter Jaliyah Smith, and one son Keegan Smith, Parents Calvin Miles and Cheryl Williams, two sisters Whitney Miles and Kristin (Bryant) Morris, four brothers Keith Williams, Brice (Sabrina) Miles, Kyle Miles, and Kalen Desrosiers, Grandmother Kathryn Miles, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew and friends.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Nathaniel and Gloria Anderson and paternal grandfathers Joe Miles and Tollie Davis.
