Larry Lee “Skip” Roemer, 81, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, February 23, 2024.

He was born on June 13, 1942 in New Haven to the late Earl and Margaret (Bultemeire) Roemer.

Larry honorably answered his country’s call and served in the Untied States Marine Corps Reserves.

Mr. Roemer retired after more than 30 years as a Sales Manager for TJ Nowak Supply. Following retirement he went on to work for Lakeside Golf Course, where he helped to keep the course beautiful and ready for his favorite hobby.

Skip will be fondly remembered for his love of golf, The Bears, and the Indiana Hoosiers. He was also a little league baseball coach for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Roemer; children, Mark David Roemer and Kristin Margaret (Adam) Roemer; stepchildren, Kelley Ann Ogden, Charles Allen (Debi) Stout, and Michael Christian (Dawn) Stout; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding him in death were his first wife, Barbara Jean Roemer; and grandson Cameron Michael Stout.

A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be announced at a later date.
