Lewis B Natkiel

LEWIS B. NATKIEL, 86, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021, in Fort Wayne. Born in Boston, Mass., on Oct. 8, 1935, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Albertha Natkiel. Lewis worked at General Motors for 33 years until his retirement in 2007. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and very devoted in his faith. Lewis was an avid fisherman and accomplished his lifelong dream of owning a boat. He enjoyed shooting bow and arrow and was in competitions. He was a people person, a good prankster, and enjoyed traveling. Lewis adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and making memories with them. He is survived by his wife, Susan Natkiel; children, Bonnie (Michael) Hart, John Campbell III, Christopher Roberts, John "JJ" Martin, and Jeffrey Martin; grandchildren, Ryan, Emma, Zachary, Melissa, Robert, and Johnathon; three great-grandchildren; and cousin, Lorraine Forcier. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 35 years, Beverly Natkiel. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3055 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne (IN 46805), with visitation two hours prior.
