Lynn A. Meyers

Lynn A Meyers, 89, of Fort Wayne died August 1, 2023, at Saint Anne Home, Fort Wayne, IN. Lynn was born March 28, 1934, in Fort Wayne, the son of the late Harold R. and Dorothy (Wagner) Meyers. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1952. He was a member of St Jude Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He served as a Quartermaster in the US Army from 1956 to 1958. He was the bookkeeper at Parrot Market for 35 years, retiring in 1999. Lynn is survived by wife of 69 years, Carole M. Meyers; four sons, Gary (Carol) Meyers, David (Elizabeth) Meyers, Christopher (Sherry) Meyers, James (Monica) Meyers; daughter Suzanne Kelley; 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. Lynn was preceded in death along with his parents, by a son-in-law, Timothy Kelley and grandson, James Meyers II. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Dr. Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to the service. Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
