Margaret Ann Rorick, 90, died Wednesday August 2, 2023 at St. Anne Home. Margaret was born in Fort Wayne on December 2, 1932, the daughter of (the late) Richard Paul Rohyans and Viola (Wyss) Rohyans. On September 1, 1956, Margaret married Paul William "Bill" Rorick, who preceded her in death on July 8, 1996, after 39 years of marriage. Margaret was a great wife and mom, and a lifelong caregiver both professionally and personally. She was a retired Registered Nurse, working at St. Joseph Hospital for over 25 years. She was devout in her faith and was a member of St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church and the Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of the Allen Co. Extension's Homemakers Association. Margaret cherished the time she spent with her family & friends, playing cards or trivia games, watching Jeopardy, working crossword puzzles, or cheering on the Chicago Cubs baseball and Notre Dame football teams.

She is survived by her children; Roseanne (Daniel) Conroy of Wolcottville, Sally Still, Timothy (Deanna) Rorick and Steven (Diane) Rorick, all of New Haven, Julie Moore of Goshen, Kathryn (Gregory) Clayton of Westfield and Gregory (Michele) Rorick of Fort Wayne; sister, Mary Lou Shovlin of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Laura (Ryan) Moulton, Claire Rorick, Olivia Rorick, Bethany Rorick, and Jennifer (Chad) Zurbrugg, all of New Haven; Erin (Sean) Ward, Joseph Rorick, Henry Moore, Jacob Rorick and Patrick Rorick, all of Fort Wayne; Robert Moore of Delaware OH, Margaret Moore of Brisbane, Queensland (Australia), Paul (Monica) Clayton and Ryan Clayton, both of Westfield; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hope of Marion, Alexis Hope of Fort Wayne, Kori Moulton, Mason Knoch, Parker Moulton, Autumn Cline, Lydia Moulton, Cameron Zurbrugg, Samuel Zurbrugg, Axel Zurbrugg and Tucker Zurbrugg, all of New Haven, and one additional great-granddaughter who is due to arrive shortly!

In addition to her parents and husband Paul W. "Bill" Rorick, Margaret was also preceded in death by a son, James Rorick; grandson, Daniel Conroy; brothers, Richard Rohyans and David Rohyans; sister, Diana Urick, and sons-in-law, Richard Still and David Moore.

Mass of Christian Burial is 11:00am Saturday August 5, 2023, at St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, 15535 Lincolnway East, New Haven, IN 46774, with visitation from 10:00-11:00 in the church. Visitation also from 2-8pm Friday August 4, 2023 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, with the Rosary recited at 6:00pm. Burial in St. Louis Besancon Catholic Cemetery.
