Marjorie A. (Monnier) McCurdy

Marjorie A. (Monnier) McCurdy, 80, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at St. Anne's Home following a brief illness.  Born November 17, 1941, in New Haven, IN, Marjorie was the daughter of Ralph and Mildred (Blaising) Monnier.  She graduated from Central Catholic High School in Fort Wayne and for many years was Assistant Treasurer for Waterfield Mortgage Company in Fort Wayne before her retirement.  She married James McCurdy in 1979 and they spent 22 happy years together until his death in 2001. Marjorie was a member of St. Charles Parish before making St. Anne's Assisted Living her home in 2016.  She had a deep love for her family and was a kind and loving aunt to all her nieces and nephews.  Marjorie is survived by her sisters, Joan Weller and Audrey Kirk of Fort Wayne, and Mary (Michael) Usher of Cary, IL; and many beloved nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James; brother, Karl, and sister-in-law, Mary Monnier.  Mass of Christian Burial is Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Jude's Parish, Fort Wayne, IN with calling one hour prior. Calling also on Monday, March 28, 2022, from 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne, with a rosary at 3:00 pm. Burial at Catholic Cemetery, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.  Memorials may be given for Masses to St. Anne's Home, St. Charles' Parish and St. Jude's Parish.
