Marsha J. (Lawson) Burner

Marsha J. Burner, 78, of Fort Wayne passed away, Sunday, April 17, 2022. Born November 1, 1943, in
Berkley, CA she was a daughter of the late Roy and Margaret Lawson. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Parish, Fort Wayne, Indiana. 

She was an Executive Assistant for the National United Auto Workers Union. Marsha “Jeannine” is survived by companion Morris Nobles; Debra (Doug) Davis of Frisco Texas, Morrison Agen (Danielle) of Fort Wayne, Barbara (William) Martin of Bradenton Florida. Jeannine was also preceded in death by her son, Barry Rechtzigl.

Jeannine was known for her universal kindness to all who met her.  She was always a class act that lived life to its fullest with an abundance of grace. She was an avid card maker, jitterbug dancer and had a love of crafting and homemaking.  Most of all, Jeannine was a friend to all who knew her. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Thursday, April 21, 2022, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Rd. with calling two hours prior. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Portage, IN on Friday, April 22, 2022, 2:30 pm.
