Mary Luise Harness

Mary Luise Harness, 70, of Fort Wayne died May 12, 2022. Mary was born in Fort Wayne to the late Hans and Luise (Hauser) Loeffler. She was a member of St Jude Catholic Church, Sigma Alpha Chi, church choir. She was employed with Lincoln Life for 10 years, then school secretary and administrative assistant for the St. Jude Catholic Church retiring after 25 years of service. She was a wonderful caregiver of others and devoted member of her church. Mary enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Melissa Harness and Kathleen "Katie" (Ethan) Petzold; brothers, David (Dorothy) Loeffler and Michael (Sharon) Loeffler; brother in-law Joseph Noll; grandchildren Connor, Brock and June Petzold.  Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Harness and sister, Madeline Noll.

Mass of the Christian Burial  will be 10:30 am Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at  St. Jude Catholic Church 2130 Pemberton Dr., Ft. Wayne, IN 46805 with calling one hour prior. Visitation will also be held 3-8 pm, and a rosary service will be held at 2:30 pm, Tuesday May 17, 2022  at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. 

Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. 

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church.
