Mary S. Stolz

Mary S. Stolz, 96, of Fort Wayne died August 22, 2022 at her home in Fort Wayne, IN. Mary was born to the late George and Elsie Vorndran on May 3, 1926 in Fort Wayne. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, GE Quarter Century Club and GE Elex Club. Mary was proud to have worked at GE for 47 years and to have volunteered for over 20 years at Lutheran Hospital. She enjoyed spending time at her lake home and was a devoted member of the Central Catholic, Sacred Heart and Bishop Luers communities, devoting many hours to them. Grand Mary, your spirit and independence will not be forgotten and you are loved forever.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Carol B.(Jerry) Schowe; son David D. Stolz; grandchildren Jessica Schowe, David Stolz, Katherine Stolz and Joseph Stolz; great grandson Jack Stolz and brother in-law Rodger Rang, and many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband David Stolz and 10 brothers and sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1122 S Clinton St with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorial contributions may be made to Masses or to the Allen County SPCA.
