Mary T. Wunderlin

Mary Wunderlin, 64, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, June 11, 2021. Mary was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on March 12, 1957 to the late Reppard & Helen Starnes. Mary graduated from Saint Phillip Catholic Central in 1975 and Western Michigan University in 1979. She and Brian met while working at Meijer and traveled around looking for their forever home when they found Fort Wayne in 1998. She ran the office of the family business for 17 years and enjoyed her "book" club (cheers!) friends immensely. Mary was a thoughtful gift giver, a night owl, and a lover of Chardonnay and traveling. Insurance commercials? She hated them! 

 In 1987, Mary wed the love of her life, Brian Wunderlin. In those 34 years, they raised two children, Kevin Wunderlin, and Kaylee (Jorge) Nevarez. The light of Mary's life was being Nana to her grandchildren; her princess Camila and her sunshine Alejandro.  Her best friends were her sisters, Susan Sennertt and Constance Clark. Mary is also survived by her brother William (Ana) Starnes, brothers-in-law Butch (Louanna) Wunderlin, Billy Wunderlin, nephews Matthew (Amber), David, Jacob (Valerie), Alec, and Will, a niece, Melissa, and countless other friends she made throughout the years.

Mary was also preceded in death by her mother- and father-in-law, Edith & Edwin Wunderlin, her brother-in-law Chuck Sennertt, nephew Mikey Sennertt, and niece Jennifer Wunderlin.

Services will be at 11am, Friday, June 18, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center Rd, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will be held 5-7 with a Rosary Service at 7pm, Thursday June 17, 2021 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805

In leu of flowers preferred Memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association or the Fort Wayne Firefighters Museum.
