MICHELLE THOMAS, 58, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born Sept. 27, 1959, in Fort Wayne, Michelle was a daughter of the late Carlton and Charlotte Giant. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Michelle took pride in making her house a home and absolutely cherished her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, John Thomas; son, Eric (Rebecca) Thomas; daughter, Chelsie (Jacob) Frelin; two brothers, Stan (Marcia) Giant and Greg Giant; three sisters, Nancy Canull, Jeannine (Marv) Phillips and Beth (Paul) Kline; mother-in-law, Marjorie Thomas; and grandchildren, Ryder, Breckyn, Leonardo, and Penelope. Michelle was also preceded in death by her sister, Jacque Mann. Mass of Christian Burial is 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2018, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, with a Rosary at 3:30 p.m. Burial in St. Louis Besancon Cemetery, New Haven.
