Midred Doehrer Obituary

Mildred C. Doehrer, 96, of Fort Wayne passed away August 20, 2022 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mildred was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Carroll. She was a member of Church of the Open Door in Westminster, Maryland and Gideon's . She graduated with her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Old Dominion University and a Master of Science from Western Maryland College. She was an Elementary School teacher in Baltimore County, Maryland. Other activities included Good News and Prison Ministry. Mildred is survived by sons, Allan (Bonnie) Bowman of Fort Wayne, IN, Frank (Sandy) Bowman of Waterloo, IA, and Thomas (Anne) Doehrer of Hampstead, NC; sister, Margie Bohn of Pompano Beach, FL, and 8 grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her husbands, Russell E. Doehrer, Sr., and Harry L. Bowman, son, Joseph Bowman, and 5 siblings.

Arrangements by Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Private service and burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
