Miguel Angel Palma

Miguel Angel Palma, 95, of Fort Wayne passed away of Covid-19 on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at his home. Miguel was born October 2, 1924 in Guatemala, a son of the late Alejandro Hernandez and Edelmira Palma.  Miguel is survived by his loving wife, Rosalina; sons, Francisco Palma, Hector A. Palma, Santiago Palma, Amadeo R. Palma, Jaime Palma, and Oscar L. Palma; daughters, Evangelina Melendez, Maribel Robles, Liliana E. Parra; 41 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren. Miguel was preceded in death by his daughter, Eneldina Sanchez; and son, Jose M. Palma.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2213 Brooklyn Ave, with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Monday, July 13, 2020, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Face covering required and social distancing guidelines will be followed. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.  In Lieu of Flowers the family requests donations made to:

Miguel Ángel Palma, 95, de Fort Wayne, falleció de COVID-19 el día miércoles, 24 de junio, 2020 en su hogar.  Miguel Ángel nació el día 2 de octubre, 1924 en Guatemala, hijo de Alejandro Hernández y Edelmira Palma.  Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Rosalina; hijos, Francisco Palma, Héctor A. Palma, Santiago Palma, Amadeo R. Palma, Jaime Palma y Oscar L. Palma; hijas, Evangelina Melendez, Maribel Robles, Liliana E. Parra; 41 nietos y 47 bisnietos.  Miguel fue precedido en muerte por su hija, Eneldina Sánchez  y su hijo José M. Palma.  Misa de entierro cristiano será el día martes 14, 2020 a las 11:00 a.m.  en la Iglesia Católica de San José, 2213 Brooklyn Ave, con una hora de visitación antes.  Las visitaciones serán el día lunes 13 de Julio, 2020 de 2:00 p.m. a 4:00 p.m. y de 6:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. en La Casa Funebre  La Divina Misericordia, 3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne.  Se requiere cubrirse la cara con máscaras y se seguirán las reglas de distanciamiento social.  El entierro será en el Cementerio Católico.  En lugar de flores, la familia recomienda hacer donaciones para el fondo memorial de Miguel Palma en la siguiente página
