Norman Thomas Henry, 93, of Fort Wayne died Saturday August 7, 2021. Norman was born in Fort Wayne to the late Joseph and Lillian Henry. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. Norman then served in the US Army during the Korean War. In 1955 he and his cousin Tom Degitz developed 35 acres on Big Long Lake into the Two Indians Mobile Home Park and Marina. He also was employed by Falstaff Brewing Co. for more than 30 years as well as being a licensed real estate agent. He enjoyed volunteering at Miss Virginia's Food Pantry and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Norman enjoyed his "sip" while cheering on the Fighting Irish and also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports.
Norman is survived by his wife of 60 years Elaine; son, Gary (Heather) Henry; three daughters, Lisa (Bob) Kelley, Tracy (Mike) Sines, Jennifer (Scott) Burkhardt; grandchildren, Ryan, Megan, Alyssa, Ashley, Katie, Kristina, Patrick, Anna and Mathew and 4 great grandchildren
Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Thursday August 12, 2021 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4619 Trier Rd. with calling one hour prior. Visitation will also be held 2-4 and 5-7pm, with a Rosary service at 7 pm Wednesday August 11, 2021 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery
