Patrick Allen Alexander

Patrick Allen "Pat" Alexander, 77, of Fort Wayne passed away February 5, 2021 at home, after a two year struggle with cancer. Pat was born February 11, 1943 in Mount Vernon, OH he was the son of the late Billy Guy and Naomi Alexander. Pat was a graduate of Mount Vernon High School where he enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. He attended Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.  Pat proudly served our country in the U S Army from 1962 - 1965 stationed in Pittsburgh, PA.  He retired from International Harvester and also worked several years at Georgetown Bowling Center. Pat was an avid bowler and a member of the Fort Wayne Bowling Association Hall of Fame and the American Legion Post 47. He enjoyed playing cards, spending time with family and friends, watching old movies, westerns and sports on tv. Patrick is survived by his wife of 48 years, Charlotte; daughter, Katie (Douglas Goeglein) Alexander of Fort Wayne; grandson, Colin Westerfield of Fort Wayne; brother, William R (Susan) Alexander of Georgetown, TX; nephew, Michael Alexander of Kingwood, TX; niece, Amy (Rick)  Williams of Dallas, TX.  Memorial Services are pending at this time.  Memorial contributions may be made to Honor Flight of NE Indiana.
