Paul A. Mourey, Jr.

Paul A. Mourey, Jr., 94, of New Haven passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022.  Born January 7, 1928, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Paul Mourey and Leona Tillock. Paul was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven.  He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was also a member of American Legion Post 330.   He retired from Phelps Dodge after 48 years of service.  Paul married Charlotte Ehinger, who passed away in 2012.  Paul is survived by his sisters, Carol Conley, Pat Lothamer, Betty Isenbarger; and other extended family members.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Don (Joann) Mourey.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Friday, September 2, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St. New Haven, with calling one hour prior.  Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Catholic Church, New Haven.
