Richard Martinez Ochoa

Richard Martinez Ochoa, 76, of Fort Wayne went to be with his wife Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. Richard was born December 27th in Encinal, Texas. Richard retired from FWCS as a school bus driver and was a bartender at La Margarita restaurant on S. Calhoun St. since the 1970’s. Richard always had a smile on his face and made friends wherever he went. He loved traveling and camping with his wife Brenda. He was a loving husband, a wonderful father, a caring brother, and THE COOLEST Grandpa.

Richard is survived by his daughters Rachelle (Gene) Hall and Noel Ochoa; sons, Aaron (Carrie) Ochoa and Nathan Ochoa; grandsons, Brandon (Shyenne) Hall and AJ Ochoa; granddaughter Kayla Hall; sisters, Olga Gonzalez and Berta Cruz

Richard is preceded in death by his wife Brenda Ochoa; parents Pantaleon and Paulita Ochoa, Brothers Henry Ochoa, Panfilo (Blackie) Ochoa, Alberto Ochoa, Pantaleon (Junior) Ochoa, Jose (Mexican Joe) Ochoa, and Sister Josephine (La Cuata) Barajas, and grandson Jacob Ochoa

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave. Fort Wayne, In. with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022, 4:00 pm - 7:00. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
