Richard M. Wade

Richard Wade, 85, of Fort Wayne died on Sunday November 20, 2022. He was the 6th of 7 children born to Lucille and Alvin Wade. Richard went to St. Paul Catholic grade school and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1955. He was a veteran of the US Navy. After being released from the Navy, Richard attended International Business College and graduated as an honor student. He retired from Navistar on 06-30-1993 with 31 years of service. He also retired from Zollner Piston with 10 years of service. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

Richard is survived by his sisters Alvina Koomler and Charlotte Wade; and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are sisters Waneta Koehlinger, Ann Gebhart, Dorothy Hartzog and brother Alvin Wade
Mass of Christian burial is Monday, November 28, 2022 with visitation one hour prior at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1105 S. Calhoun St.  Fort Wayne.  Visitation will also be 1-4pm Sunday, November 27, 2022 with a Rosary service at 3:30 PM at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave.  Fort Wayne. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne IN.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception or donors choice.
