Rogelio Castillo Obituary

Rogelio Uriel Castillo, 26, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, went home to be with Jesus on April 5, 2024, near Destin, Florida.

Rogelio was a handsome and happy young man who loved everyone everywhere he went. He always brightened up every room with his beautiful smile and happy demeanor. He loved musicals such as Shrek, Cinderella (featuring Brandy and Whitney Houston), all the High School Musicals, Camp Rock, Shark Tale, and Selena. He also loved spending time with family at the beach and watching Green Bay Packers football with mom.

Rogelio was born in Fort Wayne in 1997 to parents Uriel Castillo (Dad) and SanJuana Angel Castillo (Mom), who loved their little baby boy. Mom and Dad always ensured he was included and lived a fulfilled life, participating in events and traveling with them to places such as Walt Disney World, Washington D.C., Florida, Texas, and many other vacation locations.

Rogelio enjoyed being around people and his family. He enjoyed going to school and graduated from Northrop High School in 2019. Rogelio took his beautiful, bright smile everywhere he went. It is certain that Rogelio touched many hearts and depicted the perfect love of God and Jesus Christ. His entrance into this world was why his family reached out to and sought out God; they will forever be grateful. He will be greatly missed, but now he has a perfect body and perfect health in heaven and his eternal reward with Jesus Christ. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who loved him.

Rogelio was a member of Passion Church in New Haven, Indiana, and regularly attended church with his parents and family. Rogelio is survived by his dad, Uriel Castillo; his mom, SanJuana Angel Castillo; his brother and sister-in-law, Jose U. Castillo & Nancy I. Castillo and their daughters; his sisters Isabella H. Castillo & Marisella A. Castillo; his Popo and Momo Jose M. Perales & Erminia M. Perales; his grandma Anna Fuentes; his grandpa Luis A. Castillo; his grandma Blanca Rosa Castillo; his grandpa Faustino Alcantar; and many other family members who love him dearly.
