Rose Marie Gibson, 60, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Parkview Randallia Hospital.
Rose was born on October 11, 1963 in Fort Wayne to the late George and Lois (Kintz) Gibson.
Ms. Gibson worked for Peerless Cleaners in Fort Wayne.
She was a member of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and an associate of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ since 2003.
In her free time, Rose loved to play Bingo and crafting. She also enjoyed going to casinos. Rose will always be remembered for her willingness to hop on any adventure, big or small.
She leaves behind to mourn her loss sisters, Susie (Charles) Bierbaum and Mary Jane Gibson; nephews, Jeff (Aimee) Bierbaum and Andrew Rodgers; nieces, Sarah Bierbaum and Jennifer (Matt) DeHaven; great-nieces, Libby Bierbaum, Alli Bierbaum, and Emily Bierbaum; and special cousins, Carolyn Minick and Patti Gallmeyer
Also preceding her in death were siblings George Gibson Jr. and Rebecca Rodgers; and niece, Jessica Bierbaum.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 22, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4910 Trier Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Calling will also be Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne with a Rosary being offered for Rose at 4 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ or the Greater Indiana Alzheimer Association Northeast Chapter-Fort Wayne.
