Samuel J Rizzo, 94, of Fort Wayne died Friday, April 2, 2021 at Elevate Senior Living, Fort Wayne, IN. Mary J Rizzo, 94, of Fort Wayne died Sunday, April 4, 2021 at Parkview Memorial Hospital Randallia, Fort Wayne, IN Samuel and Mary were both born in Fort Wayne and were  members of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. Samuel served in the Navy during WW II and was a Barber for many years, She worked at General Electric for over 30 years and loved to play the organ. They both enjoyed singing kareoke together. Samuel and Mary were married for almost 73 years and are survived by their sons, John Rizzo and Samuel Rizzo, Jr. both of Fort Wayne, IN; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her sisters Judy Maroney and Kathy Maroney, both of Garrett, IN; brothers Bob Maroney of New Haven, IN and Richard Maroney of Florida. Samuel's sisters, Carmela Leto and Mary Margaret Tyler both of Fort Wayne, IN. They were preceded in death by their son, Michael Rizzo, Mary's brothers Tom, John, Bill and Paul Maroney, sister Rose Adams, Samuel's brother Phil. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 2213 Brooklyn Ave with calling one hour prior.  Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
