Sandra Kay (Long) Meyers

Sandra Kay Meyers, 78, of Fort Wayne passed away October 6, 2020 surrounded by her family. Sandy was born February 28, 1942 in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Betty Long.  She graduated from Cosmetology School, she was a proud owner of her own car sales lot, and was a title clerk at Dimension Ford.  Her interests included shopping, talking, visiting with friends, playing cards, listening to country music, and Englebert Humperdink.  Sandy is survived by son, John A. (Christi L) Meyers of Fort Wayne; step grandchildren, Nick (Misty) Workman, Ryan (Taneka) Workman, Tony Workman, Zach Workman; three nieces; two nephews; six step great grandchildren and many great nieces and nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth N Meyers; brothers, Kenneth  Long, and David Long; father-in-law, John A Meyers, and mother-in-law, Rebecca Meyers.  Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Friday, October 16, 2020 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave with calling one hour prior. Face covering required.  Burial will be in Eel River Cemetery, Churubusco. Memorial contributions may be made to The Rescue Mission.
