Sandra K. (Simon) Palmersheim

Sandra K. Palmersheim, 81, of Fort Wayne passed away Friday, April 9, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Sandy was born April 21, 1939 in Mason City, IA., she was a daughter of the late Irvin and Dorothy Simon.  She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.  Sandy was a cosmetologist, homemaker and artist.  She enjoyed antiquing, painting, family events, traveling and especially spending time at the lake with family.  Sandy is survived by  her loving husband Jack; daughters, Lisa (Phil) Teusch, Tamara (Eric) Lonsbury; son, Matthew (Tasha) Palmersheim; five grandsons, Andrew Teusch, Alex Teusch, Joe Lonsbury, Sam Lonsbury, Jake Lonsbury; three granddaughters, Claire Lonsbury, Lauren Palmersheim, Margot Palmersheim; brother, William Simon; and sister, Kathy (Mike) Hoelscher.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am,Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Rd with calling one hour prior. Visitation also Monday, April 12, 2021 3:30 - 7:00 pm with rosary at 3:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave.  Face covering required at the funeral home and at church.  Entombment will be in Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or Donors Choice.
