Scott M. Sorg, age 57, of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 18, 2024. Born on May 28, 1966, he was the son of John and Carolyn Sorg. Scott was a graduate of Bishop Luers High School and St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, IN. Most recently, he worked at Bob Evans Restaurant in Plymouth, IN. When not working, Scott enjoyed his two passions in life, fishing and gardening. He loved to fish any chance he could get. He also had a great love for watching the Dallas Cowboys play football and was a true Cowboy’s fan. Scott will be remembered as a kind and generous soul who loved life and lived it to its fullest. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jordyn (Evan) Hall, Madyson Sorg, and Alex Sorg; grandchildren, Eden and Killian; mother, Carolyn Sorg; father, John Sorg; siblings, Todd, Jude, and Shane Sorg, and Linda (Larry) Wise; and many nieces and nephews. Scott was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church – Hessen Cassel, 11337 Old U.S. HWY 27 South, Fort Wayne, IN 46816 with visitation one hour prior.
