Tamara Lynn Tapp, 59, a child of God, of Fort Wayne, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, surrounded by family. Tammy was born July 12, 1962, in Searcy, AR. She attended Harding University and is a member of Pathway Community Church. Tammy loved her family and took care of them as a stay at home wife, mom and Mimi. She was passionate about God and loved singing praises to the Lord. Tammy is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Marvin; children, Meghan (Michael) Wallace, Jonathan (Kelsy) Tapp, Ryan (Hanna) Tapp; grandchildren, Michael, Jr., Aliyah, Olivia, Silas, Selah, Eleanor, Ruby, Isaiah, Elijah, Kennedy, and Zion; parents, Pat (Helen) Carter, and Gail Lackey; siblings, Kerry (Andy) Holder, Mark (Nettie) Carter, and Jessica (Matt) Blosser; sisters-in-law, Debbie Brown, Betty Tapp, and Bonita Tapp; nieces and nephews, Nick, Mitchell, Benji, Micah, Abby, Luke, Liam, Levi, Bri, and Jeremy. Tammy was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Jim Lackey; father-in-law, Marvin (Deanna) Tapp, Sr.; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Tapp, and brother-in-law, Dallas Brown. Funeral Service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Pathway Community Church, 1010 Carroll Rd, with calling from 9:00-11:00 am. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
