Thomas "Tom" James Kelker

Thomas "Tom" James Kelker, 82, of Fort Wayne passed away June 23, 2022. Tom was born November 16, 1939 in Fort Wayne, IN, a son of the late Edward G. and Maxine (Baker) Kelker. 

Tom attended St. Patrick's Catholic School, and was a 1957 Central Catholic High School graduate. He married Gloria Hatfield on August 17, 1963 and together they shared 42 years of marriage before her passing.  He retired in 2003 from Navistar (International Harvester) after 33 years of service. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, golfing, and being a devoted husband, father and grandfather. 

Thomas is survived by children, Beth (Mark) Permann, Michael (Ashlynn) Kelker, Tim (Susan) Kelker, and Margaret (Steve) McDonald; 10 grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Marilyn) Kelker, Ed (Michelle) Kelker, Dave Kelker, and Barb (R.B) Barnes.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Kelker and brother, Mike Kelker. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center RD with calling one hour prior. 

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805 with a rosary at 3:30 pm. 

Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, IN. 

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Soup Kitchen, Eleos Hospice, or to Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church for Masses in his name.
