Wallace Lawrence Hogle, 84, of Fort Wayne passed away, November 12, 2021. Wallace was born January 8, 1937 in Fort Wayne, a son of the late Wallace M and Helen Hogle.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Marine Engineers Beneficial Association.
Wallace was a Korean War Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for the MIlitary Sealift Command as a DOD employee. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time outdoors and spending time with his beloved dog, Sancho. He had a wonderful relationship with his grandchildren and enjoyed making memories with them.
Wallace is survived by his wife of 49 years, Teresita Hogle; daughters; Patricia Hogle, Maritess (Halim) Wijaya, Jeanneth Hogle, Kathleen (Mauricio) Kossler, Maria (Zachary Neels) Hogle; son, Wallace (Savannah ) Hogle II; seven siblings; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Wallace was preceded in death by three siblings; and son, Mark Hogle.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30am, Monday, November 22, 2021 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825 with calling one hour prior.
Visitation will be held from 3pm to 6pm on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne.
Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.
