William H. "Bill" Bougher, 87, of Fort Wayne died October 17, 2021 at home, surrounded by his loving family. William was born November 7, 1933 in Fort Wayne and was the son of the late Frank and Mauriece Bougher. He attended the Blue Cloud Abbey as Brother Mauriece OSB, and served our country in the U S Army. Bill was a lifelong member of Saint Jude Catholic Church. He was the owner at Riegels Pipe and Tobacco and is considered the oldest family owned business in Fort Wayne. He enjoyed spending time with family, going to the lake, and playing cards. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Barbara; sons, Brendan (Staci) Bougher, James (Anne) Bougher, Frank (Marcia) Bougher, William (Karen) Bougher, and Thomas Bougher all of Fort Wayne, Jerry (Angela) Bougher of Sheboygan, WI; daughters, Anne Yarde of Fort Wayne, IN, and Margie (Randall) Hubbell of Cicero, IN; 21 grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. William was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Bougher, sister, Margie Jehl, and son-in-law, Todd Yarde. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Friday, October 22, 2021 at Saint Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Dr. with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 21, 2021, from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with a Rosary recited at 5:30 pm.
