Yvonne Paliganoff

Yvonne Rose Paliganoff died on December 30, 2021, a few days before her 84th birthday.  She was born in Fort Wayne to Joseph and Rosemary Belot on January 5, 1938, sister of Carol Smith (d. 2020) and Lois Dunn. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1955. Yvonne was by nature poised, gracious, generous, and moved easily to laughter.  She also took great delight in children and had six of her own, Dan Paliganoff (wife Alisa Paliganoff), Marie Paliganoff, Pat Paliganoff (d. 2009, widow Gina Paliganoff), Marty Paliganoff, Laura Paliganoff (husband Rick Sudasassi), and Amy Paliganoff.  She delighted even more in her five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, including Sean Paliganoff, Megan Paliganoff, Niki Koch (husband Aaron Koch), and Jake Tharpe.  She was an aunt to Greg Dunn (d. 1988), Mike Dunn, Roseann Smiley (d. 2016), Tim Dunn, PJ Smith, Kathleen Smith, and Mark Smith. All these people and many more are blessed with enduring memories of her cheerful kindness.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:30 am, Friday, January 7, 2022 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in the Mother Theodore Guerin Chapel, 1122 S Clinton St with calling one hour prior. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery.
