Every member of the Catholic Cemetery is well versed and trained in the funeral and burial traditions of the Catholic Church. Casey began his career in cemetery management in 1982 and has been actively involved in managing all areas of cemetery and funeral home operations. In addition to his role at Catholic Cemetery, Casey is the Executive Director of the Indiana Cemetery Association and in 1992 he was appointed to the State Board of Funeral and Cemetery Service in Indianapolis by then Gov. Evan Bayh where he served as the Board Chairman for two years. Casey is most honored to serve the families that rely on our Catholic Cemetery and to represent the Board of Directors and Most Reverend Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades in this endeavor. Casey is married to Gloria and they have two children, Neal and Lauren.
ROBERT “BOB” JESCH
Bob has served the Fort Wayne community as a Funeral Director for over 35 years. He is a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, K of C, Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association, Experimental Aircraft Association, former coach of North Side High School Hockey and former longtime board member of Erin’s House. A graduate of Bishop Dwenger High School, Bob served in the U S Navy. He enjoys flying, golf, scuba diving and spending summers at Hamilton Lake with family and friends.
Monte is originally from the South Bend / Mishawaka area. He lives in Fort Wayne with his wife of 17 years and two sons, Owen and Evan. He graduated from the college of Mortuary Science in Cincinnati, OH in 1996. He then moved to Fort Wayne where he has been a funeral director in Fort Wayne for over 20 years. Monte is very dedicated to the families he serves and will ensure your family is taken care of and that you have a person that can help you organize and celebrate your loved one’s wishes.
Born in Fort Wayne, Stephanie and her family moved to Phoenix in 1985. Soon after moving to Phoenix, Stephanie entered Mortuary Science training at Mesa Community College and completed her degree with emphasis on Mortuary Science.
Stephanie received her licensing as a cremationist, embalmer and funeral director from the state of Arizona and is fully licensed in Indiana as well. In September 2017, Stephanie returned to the Fort Wayne area to be with her family. Divine Mercy Funeral Home is truly blessed to be associated with someone as qualified as Stephanie.
Serving Divine Mercy families at their time of need is what Stephanie truly finds most rewarding.
Mary has devoted her life to loving, giving and caring for people God brings into her life. She is a Fort Wayne life-long Catholic parishioner with a passion for people. Mary is grounded in her faith and understanding of the sacred Catholic teaching with reverence toward holy grounds for final resting place. Her commitment to the Catholic Cemetery is an extension of her parish community to give witness that the community of faith is unbroken by death. Mary is married to Tom Didier and is blessed with three children, Paul, Paige and Lauren.
Todd joins the staff with five years of funeral and cemetery planning experience. Todd is also a life-long Catholic parishioner and enjoyed being active coaching, serving on the School Board and HASA, while his three sons (Connor, Barrett and Parker) attended St. Joseph Catholic School – Decatur. His desire to assist families through the most difficult time in a family’s life, drives him to strive for excellence with compassion, daily here at the Catholic Cemetery.
Greet Staff Coordinator
Gloria was born in Manizales, Colombia and assists both Divine Mercy and Catholic Cemetery families with English translation when requested. Gloria also is responsible for assuring a welcoming experience for those attending visitations at Divine Mercy Funeral Home.
Divine Mercy is her calling as she has been involved with the funeral home since approval was given by our Diocese to proceed with making Divine Mercy Funeral Home a reality. A devout Catholic and member of Saint Vincent de Paul’s Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, Gloria loves to spend time with her family and friends. Bowling is a passion as she was the Women’s National Champion in Colombia in 1997, and in 2015 she won the High Actual Series 630 at Indiana State Senior USBC Women’s Class E.
Director of Maintenance
Scott has been responsible for the overall appearance of our Catholic Cemetery for over eleven years. Scott’s additional responsibilities includes monument installations, performing burials, turf management and overseeing full time and seasonal maintenance employees. Scott’s life centers around his wife and their four children. He enjoys participating in basketball, football, fishing and camping activities with his family.
