Mike will be dearly missed. I only knew Mike through his involvement in the Boy Scouts, his leadership and great heart were evident in all of my interactions with him. I had not seen him in many years but i will cherish my memories of his tremendous smile, heart, and attention to the moment he always demonstrated. Thank you for your service to the Boy Scouts, community, and family. RIP

Mike was my dentist for many years. He never failed to try to carry on a conversation as he was working in my mouth. I will most remember and respect him for the compassion and care he showed for the homeless youth in the area. He touched so many lives! Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you with His comfort and peace.

I knew Mike from our Dental School days. He generally had a smile on his face and knew how to tell a good joke. May he rest in peace. Jim Lindeman, DDS IUSD 1973

Humanity has lost a great family man and a great philanthropist. When we Haitian young men came to Fort Wayne, Doc and his wife made us feel welcome and love. He made sure that we always had a great smile since we enjoy smiling. He was always giving. Doc, I know that you are already home. You will be missed. My sincere condoleances to the Sturm Family, Jacques and Tekoya Calixte

Mike and I were classmates from first grade through graduation from Bishop Luers '65. He was my dentist from 1988 - 2015. I will always remember him as a very funny guy who had a joke for every occasion. He could have been a very successful stand up comedian. He could make me laugh as he stuck my jaw with a 2" long needle of novacaine or drilling a tooth! But, there was a serious side to Michel that had to be respected. I will miss him. May God comfort him in the palm of his hand.

Love and peace to your family. The love you all have for each other is a joy to see. Not only family, but best friends. Your parents led by example, and created memories that will never be forgotten. I treasure the relationships I have with your family, and remember all the fun times I have had with all of you. I remember him enlisting me to call a friend of his, and help play a practical joke on her. He sure enjoyed his jokes, and making people laugh. God bless your family and give you peace. Love you all, Karen Fair
